Oxford Falls Retirement Resort

Project Overview

Oxford Falls Architectural Plans FINAL ISSUE

The proposed Oxford Falls Retirement Resort on Sydney’s Northern Beaches will provide seniors with the highest possible standard of living throughout their retirement.

Designed to offer three-stages-of-care, this resort will be an Australian first. The resort offers residents both independence and support services on demand.

The 35 acre site will preserve 86 per cent of the site as open-space in complete harmony with its natural surroundings. In fact much of the resort will be hidden due to the topography of the site.

The seniors living resort will include 400 two and three bedroom apartments accommodating 1,000 residents, 100 low-care one bedroom serviced-apartments and an 80 bed nursing home.

The resort will provide medical facilities, nursing care, recreational amenities, restaurants, cafes, village-style shopping, large indoor heated pool, three external pools, gymnasium and movie theater.

Following a number reviews and refinements, the proposed resort meets all key environmental, bushfire, transport, indigenous and planning requirements. The resort will provide a net-gain for the environment, by preventing 20 tonnes of pollutants from entering Narrabeen Lagoon through best-practice water management.

After seven years working with government, council and the local community, we believe we have a better proposal than the one originally intended. The Oxford Falls Retirement Resort will provide a new benchmark for senior’s living in Australia.
